The restaurant offered a hearty selection of home-cooked meals made to order, and I must say, the roast on Sunday, complete with homemade Yorkshire puddings, was a highlight. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a perfect backdrop for enjoying a pint of Timothy Taylor’s while I savored the vegetarian smoky three-bean chili. I appreciated the thoughtful touches in my room, like the flat screen TV and air conditioning, which made for a comfortable stay. The wine cellar boasts an impressive range from around the world, complementing the thoughtful menu. The combination of clean, stylish accommodations and satisfying meals makes the Plough a fantastic choice. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, as it has certainly set a standard for food and hospitality!
